What we do.
βAfterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David. I will rebuild its ruins and restore itβ Acts15:16
The Overcome Project is dedicated to empowering opportunity youth through the development of free state of the art youth facilities with a focus on health and fitness.
Our mission at The Overcome Project is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals in communities facing socio-economic challenges.
We are commitment to addressing health disparities and inequities to ensure the thriving of our kids. Building relationships in sport and play gives us the opportunity to build bridges in our communities. Our approach also involves enhancing job prospects and skills for young adults, thereby reducing drug sales and restricting access to harmful substances. We aim to shift cultural norms and perspectives to equip youth for inevitable pressures and empower them to make informed choices regarding substance use.
The Overcome Project heart is to build men and women of good character by showing unconditional love and support through creating a strong foundation across our 5 pillars of hope.
With our wristband reward system, youth will be recognized and awarded wristbands to symbolize their progress across the 5 pillars.
